EMPOWERING PEOPLE THROUGH THE POWER OF NATURE
WELCOME TO EARTH FOR LIFE
Earth for Life is a social enterprise committed to transforming people's lives through environmental education and eco-therapy. We specialise in empowering adults with mental health issues; young people experiencing developmental difficulties; community groups; and corporations. The experienced Earth for Life team has a proven track record of delivery, using our innovative and life-changing woodland based programmes.
Earth for Life delivers a wide range of educational and therapeutic activities such as conservation work, bushcraft, foraging and wild cookery, games, story-telling, guided walks, bug-hunting and pond-dipping, willow craft and green wood working... all year round in a variety of woodland sites across Scotland!
With Earth for Life, you can learn to harvest and prepare wild food dishes straight from the forest! One of the first Sping arrivals is an introduced species called Few-flowered Leek. It forms a carpet with an oniony aroma and makes a fabulous nutritious soup; great for the immune system. Because it's an invasive, non-native species which tends to overwhelm the native Ramsons (wild garlic), you can pick as much as you like!
