Our mission is to help people gain the many health & lifestyle benefits of exploring, caring for and playing in the natural environment, bringing communities closer to nature, themselves and each other through environmental education and ecotherapy.
GATEWAY TO GREEN SPACES
This service supports community groups from a wide range of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds to discover, explore and utilise their local green spaces for health, learning and leisure. Gateway to Greenspaces can take many forms: one-day events, woodland based community festivals, seasonal woodland activity programmes and activity leadership training programmes. It is currently one of the most popular of Earth for Life's services.
"Managed to finally light the Kelly kettle (after some trial and error). Feeling more confident in my fire lighting, using flint/striker.... Group working well together as a team.”
“Smell of smoke, taste of home brewed tea, and camp fire tea and coffee… Doesn’t it seem different when you’re outside?
You wonder why you live indoors....”
“I have had another wonderful day in great company in a stunning location. I am extremely grateful for being able to come along and learn lots of new things. I am appreciating learning about different types of plants and wildlife and although I didn’t think it would be possible, my respect for nature is increasing each week.”
Community groups can book our expert practitioners to lead fun-filled outdoor events for all the family.
